Invitation to "The 1st Water for Life Festival"

Dear Friends:

On behalf of Dr. Masaru Emoto, President of "Project of Love and Thanks to Water", I am sending this e-mail as a Secretary-General.

The United Nations declared the decade starting from March 22 of next year to be The International Decade for Action, "Water for Life", 2005-2015 and decided to tackle water problems seriously.

Official document by the UN (English) (PDF format)

Corresponding to this worldwide movement, Masaru has determined to establish a new NPO called "International Water for Life Foundation" to make a network among the general citizens who are concerned in the water problems.

The aim of this foundation is to establish a system at the grass roots by which clean and safe water can be delivered to all the people on Earth impartially.

So, we planned to hold "The 1st Water for Life Festival" as follows. One of the purposes of this Festival is to declare the start of this new NPO.

Saturday, November 27 and Sunday, November 28

(Big Hall, Medium Hall, International Hall and so on)
7-1 Kasumigaoka-cho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo 160-0013 (in Japanese)

Site (in Japanese)

We named November 27 'Day of Water' and it will begin with the bird's-eye movie by Peyton Craig and Mayana's song 'Like Water'.

Subsequently, a spiritual film of a new type "What The Bleep Do We Know!?" will be shown for the first time to the general public in Japan with a Japanese subtitle. This film, one of the hottest topics in the whole US, deals with 'Enlightenment'.

In this film, water crystal photographs by Masaru Emoto are used as a very important motif and 6 water crystal photographs from "Messages from Water" actually appear in the screen.

  1. Crystal photograph of water of the Fujiwara Dam before prayer.
  2. Crystal photograph of water of the Fujiwara Dam after prayer.
  3. Crystal photograph of purified water as a control.
  4. Crystal photograph of water that received 'Chi of Love' energy from Yukio Funai.
  5. Crystal photograph of water that was exposed to a Japanese word "Arigato", which means "Thank You" in English.
  6. Crystal photograph of water that was exposed to a Japanese word "Mukatsuku Korosu", which means "You Make Me Sick. I Will Kill You" in English.

You can get information on the ranking of this film in the whole US on the following site.

It was ranked as 17th as of November 22, and thereafter it is always about 20th.

After the showing of this film, there will be a plenary lecture "Peace Messages Delivered by Water" by Masaru Emoto and a talk between William Arntz, one of the producers and directors of this film, and Masaru Emoto.

At the end of Saturday, November 27, a flag ceremony be performed to pray for peace in each and every country by volunteers of the Goi Peace Foundation. Then, Ryusuke Seto & Hanayo Seto, a father and a daughter, will sing a song entitled "Water Song" followed by 'Prayer for Water' by a Hopi Vernon Masayesva and Masaru Emoto.

During the flag ceremony, everybody is invited to come up to the stage holding one of the national flags. We will pray together for peace in each and every country on Earth. Please join us with an open heart.

Throughout this prayer session, a glass of water will be placed on the stage.

Sunday, November 28 is named 'Day of Sound' and a latest film by Director Jin Tatsumura "Gaia Symphony No. 5" will be shown. Following this film showing, Dr. Ervin Laszlo, who is one of the interview guests in "No. 5", will give a special lecture "You can change the world".

Dr. Ervin Laszlo is also a founder of the Club of Budapest. Many distinguished people in the world are its honorary members. Subsequently, there will be an introduction of this Club by its honorary member Kenichiro Kobayashi, its Japanese coordinator Prof. Shigeyuki Itow, and its Japanese ambassador Mitsuhiro Shibata.

After this, in a relaxed mood, there will be a talk among Dr. Laszlo, Dr. Haruo Saji, Director Tatsumura and Masaru Emoto. Dr. Laszlo and Dr. Saji kindly accepted our request to play the piano on the stage.

Finally, water crystal photographs of water that was exposed to the vibration of prayer at the last event on the previous day will be presented by Masaru Emoto. And then, the whole Festival will be concluded with a number of songs by Harumi Takahashi, Mari Meguro and a chorus.

(Now only in Japanese; English version is under construction)

In retrospect, I think it was this July. Director Tatsumura and Masaru Emoto agreed upon holding a festival to show the two films.

After that, it was fixed that Director Arntz and Dr. Laszlo will come to Japan for this festival, and the plan was gradually manifested.

At the beginning, we didn't know well about the relationship between the two films, yet we became aware that there is an intimate connection as we studied both films.

For example, Dr. Laszlo who appears in "Gaia Symphony No. 5" is writing about the role of the members of the Club of Budapest as "They communicate their insights in word and image, in sound and motion, and in the myriad new media and technologies". The film "What The Bleep" is actually playing this role perfectly in the modern USA.

Additionally, there appear in total thirteen first-class scientists in quantum physics, neurology and biochemistry as well as a mystic channelling an entity called Ramtha. They talk about such BIG questions as "What is reality?", "What is our consciousness?" and "What is God?".

At least two of them -- Dr. William Tiller, Professor Emeritus of Stanford University and Dr. Fred Alan Wolf, a physicist, writer and lecturer -- are also quoted in Dr. Laszlo's book "The Whispering Pond" (Element Books Ltd.).

Very recently, a Japanese version of "The Field: The Quest for the Secret Force of the Universe" (Perennial Currents) has been published in Japan. It is a laborious work by a woman journalist, which
successfully demonstrated that everything in the world is connected with each other through the Zero Point Field, by having interviews with many cutting-edge scientists and collecting information from them.

Its author Lynne McTaggart is taking Dr. Ervin Laszlo as one of the four most influential persons to her.

Dr. Laszlo is claiming in his latest book "Science and the Akashic Field: An Integral Theory of Everything" that this Universe is interconnected not only within it but also with all the other Universes through this "Akashic Field". This field is also called "Zero Point Field" and "Field of the Quantum Vacuum".

Latest book by Dr. Laszlo (

Because everything is connected with each other in this Universe and all the other Universes, we can naturally reach the conclusion that we can change the world by changing our consciousness.

Considering this background, I feel that the following two statements are the main themes of this Festival.

Everything is connected into one.
We can change the world.

It seems that the books by Dr. Lazslo and Lynne McTaggart and the two films, "Gaia Symphony No. 5" and "What The Bleep", are all demonstrating that the two statements above are correct scientifically.

I think we should do "practice", or take actions, now based on this "understanding".

We are waiting for your coming to this 1st Water for Life Festival.

Thank you very much.
